We Believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible authoritative Word of God. (II Timothy 3:16) We Believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (I John 5:7) We Believe that our Lord Jesus Christ was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles on earth, died in our place, rose again from the dead, ascended to the right hand of the Father, and will return in power and glory. (I Corinthians 15:3,4; I Peter 2:21 24; John 3:16; I Thessalonians 4:13-18) We Believe that coming to faith in Christ results in one's being dynamically changed by God's Spirit who comes to live in us. The Bible calls that being "born again." We believe this is a gift of grace, through faith in Jesus Christ and is our only means of salvation. (Romans 3:21 30; Galatians 4:4 7) We Believe in the baptism of believers in water as an act of obedience to the command of Christ and as a statement of identification with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection. (Matthew 28:18,19; Acts 2:38) We Believe that responsible Christian conduct is expected of everyone who claims to be a follower of Christ and that love one for another is the true evidence of Christian Discipleship. (Hebrews 12:14; II Timothy 2:19; I Corinthians 15:34; Philippians 1:11; I Peter 1:16; John 13:35; Galatians 5:19-25) We Believe that all believers are indwelt by the Holy Spirit and should be filled with the Spirit and that this brings spiritual power and the gifts of the Holy Spirit in testimony and service. (Acts 2:4; Acts 10:44 46; Acts 19:2; Acts 19:6; Acts 1:8; Acts 2:42,43; Matthew 3:11) We Believe in the resurrection of all people; those who have trusted Christ unto eternal life; those who have not unto eternal death. (John 5:24, 28; 29) We Believe that healing and restoration is provided for through the redeeming work of Christ and is the privilege of all believers. (Isaiah 53:5; Matthew 8:16,17; Mark 16:18; John 5:6 14; I Peter 2:24) We Believe in the literal, personal return of Jesus Christ to judge the wicked, reward the righteous, and bring to fruition His Kingdom upon the earth. (Revelation 11:15 & 22:12)
